My most favourite time of year is here. The time that gives me 6 weeks with my boys and no schedule to follow. It is lovely to spend a day exactly how we want to!
Day 1 started with lots of Junk modelling. Kenzie made a Pokecentre with a little bit of mummy help. He did the creative stuff and I did the hot glue gun work! This is going to be a great toy for him to enjoy with his little plastic Pokemon figures! Who doesn’t like free toys and helping the environment, by reducing waste at the same time.
This is nurse Joy, Chansey and Pikachu
Little “L” and little “R” made Frozen castles and little Queen Elsa peg dolls! More free toys to enjoy. They played with these a lot in the afternoon before taking them home in the evening.
“E” and Kenzie had a look through Pokemon cards and did some trading. I learnt what holo’s and reverse holo’s are!
Kenzie and little “X” enjoyed one of our new games that we picked up from the carboot sale. It is a bit of a twist on the Jenga idea.
We also enjoyed the pool in the garden, Happy land figures and lots of safari animal small world play.
We spent the morning at the local Play bus that visits the village and the older boys played on the skate ramp and enjoyed games of hide an seek while the little ones joined in with finger rhymes and action songs, stories, free play and cutting and sticking.
Today’s play, meets the following EYFS Prime and specific areas
