So much fun had today, just by taking a couple of toy cars to the village skate ramp!
When we arrived the boys ran up and down the ramp a few times while holding their cars. I sat down and showed them how to push the cars up the slope and then watch them roll back down again.
It didn’t take long for the boys to give this a go for themselves.

It was interesting to watch them try and guess where the car would end up. Sometimes it zoomed between their feet on the way back and they would squeal as they span around to chase it off the edge of the ramp.

This was a great opportunity to observe their developmental stage of cooperative play. Pushing cars back and forth to one another.

Today’s play, meets the following EYFS Prime and specific areas:
  • Communication and Language
  • Physical Development
  • Personal, Social and Emotional
