Forest school session this week was all about outdoor cooking with some clay pot making on the side.
We made vegetable soup, pancakes and stick bread. It was all so tasty!
Little ones helped with the washing up of the bowls and spoons. They did a great job!
Pancakes for dessert!
The clay crafts went down so well last week that we did more this week. We made bowls and decorated them with wool and natural items.
Little “E” really enjoyed squashing the clay between her fingers and changing the shape of it.The more she worked it the warmer it became and the easier it was to mold.
- This was a great follow on to the pasta salad making last week. The children are really enjoying cooking their own meals. Use the fire bowls at home to cook bacon.
