This year it is year of the Rat for chinese new year. We started off our chinese fun with some pretend cooking, using the play kitchen items and cooked noodles! The children enjoyed trying out “training” chopsticks and several of them gave the noodles a good nibble!

E was feeling a bit sad today. But this activity really engaged him and calmed him down. We compared the lengths of some of the noodles. Used descriptive words such as “long, sticky, soft” and one noodle even accidentally stuck to the wall while we were playing!! We all found this very funny!
